Known as one of the best parrot talkers in the world, the African Grey originates from the west coast (Congo) and central parts of Africa. This is a bird that requires a great deal of time spent with it. Equally it needs just as much interaction with all members of the family due to its high intelligence and sensitive nature. In Australia, the Greys are becoming easier to obtain due to increasing numbers of breeding birds now reaching maturity and producing young.
