The Blue fronted Amazon comes from an area known as the Amazonian Rainforest which covers northeastern Brazil to northern Argentina. They are becoming increasingly popular in Australia as a companion bird, as they make excellent talkers and will provide their owners with hours of enjoyment. For most the Blue-fronted Amazon can make a wonderful pet, however they can be demanding and strong-willed. You will probably need to read their body language if you are to be the smarter one in this relationship! The Blue-fronts are not shy and will show their talents quite readily. They generally have wonderful natures, a softer voice than other Amazons and are fairly easy to keep. With the number of young now being bred these will soon be the most popular companion pet bird.
